507 Error When Logging in to NEXUS/UltraNEXUS

A 507 error message indicates the username or password is not recognized. Here are some things to try to resolve the error.

  • Confirm you are using the correct username and password. Both are case-sensitive.
  • Try using the default username and password, which are “admin” (all lowercase) for the username and the last six characters of the unit’s serial number for the password (all letters will be uppercase). You can find the serial number on a sticker on the back of the unit or press the up arrow button on the front panel until the serial number is displayed.
  • Try using passive FTP.
    1. Go to the Tools menu and select Preferences.
    2. Under the Application tab, check the box Use Passive FTP. Click OK at the bottom of the window.
    3. Close WinLGX and reopen; try to log in again.
  • Try restarting the computer.
  • Try rebooting the NEXUS / UltraNEXUS.
