      VieBit Sponsor Messages

      Learn how to use the sponsor and ad feature of the VieBit service.

      Sponsor messages are graphic displays with links in your VieBit pages that you can add and use for various purposes.

      Possible uses: Link to a newsletter, social media, pages on your website, local events, local services, local advertisers, etc.

      • The sponsor messages are displayed on the right side of your VieBit main landing page and on each VOD and Live streaming page.

      • Sponsor messages are displayed four at a time.
        • If you have more than four, they will rotate each time the page is loaded.
        • Sponsor messages can also be pinned, so it is always displayed.
      • Both start and end dates can be applied to a sponsor message.

      Graphic File Parameters

      • Accepted graphic file types include jpg, png, and gif image files.
      • Max Width: 165px
      • Max Height: 220px
      • Max Filesize: 200 KB

      To Create a Sponsor Message:

      1. Go to the Sponsor Messages page.
      2. Click the New button in the upper right corner.

      3. Fill in and adjust the Sponsor Message options (see the section below).
      4. Click the Save button in the lower right corner.

      Sponsor Message Options

      SponsorOptions

      • Message Name
        • This text will appear when a mouse hovers over the sponsor message image.
      • URL
        • Add a link to your desired destination.
        • Be sure to test the link from the sponsor message.
        • If the link fails, try adding "//" (without the quotes) to the front of the URL.
      • Start Date
        • Set a date for the sponsor message to begin its display period
      • End Date
        • Set an end date for the sponsor message's display period.
        • Click the No End Date button to display the sponsor message indefinitely.
      • Graphic
        • Click the Browse button to upload your graphic for the sponsor message.
      • Pin at Top
        • Set  On to have the sponsor message pinned to the top of the display instead of rotating each time the page is loaded.
      • Enable
        • Set to On to display the sponsor message.
      • Sponsor Information
        • Optional fields for your convenience.
