      WinLGX Requirements

      A quick summary of what is required to use the WinLGX software.

      The minimum specs for a computer to run WinLGX version 7.0.3.48:

      • Compatible with Windows 8/10/11 operating systems.
      • 1.6 GHz or faster processor.
      • 1 GB of RAM (2GB recommended).

      The WinLGX software requires the following ports:

      • 23 (Telnet)
      • 21 (FTP Control Connection)
      • 20 (FTP Data)

       

      NOTE: LEIGHTRONIX does not recommend port forwarding for remote access as network security can be compromised. LEIGHTRONIX does not provide support for remote access. If you wish to set up remote access, you should use a secure method such as Virtual Private Networking (VPN) or PC control software.
