Adjusting Record Preset Audio Settings
Read the article below for instructions to adjust the audio type to analog, AES, or embedded SDI audio for recording with an UltraNEXUS-HD series server.
- In the WinLGX software, click on the System Configuration folder on the right side of the schedule editor window to display the UltraNEXUS-HD series System Configuration View windows.
- In the Resource View window, click on the Internal Video Record icon.
- In the Properties View window below, set the Record audio source field to the desired audio type (There are three presets – Good, Better, Best).
- From the Record Audio Source drop-down, select the type of audio signal your system is set up to record.
- Analog: corresponds to the analog audio inputs on the UltraNEXUS-HD series video server's back panel terminal blocks (See the "Audio Terminal Blocks" knowledge base article on how to wire).
- AES: corresponds to the AES audio inputs on the UltraNEXUS-HD series video server's back panel terminal blocks (See the "Audio Terminal Blocks" knowledge base article on how to wire).
- Embedded 1-2, "Embedded 3-4," "Embedded 5-6," and "Embedded 7-8": if your audio is embedded within the incoming video signal, select the embedded audio channel pair that you want to record (in most cases it would be "Embedded 1-2").
- Save the schedule to your PC, and then send the schedule to your UltraNEXUS-HD unit to apply the changes.
