      Can’t Add Inputs or Outputs to External Switcher in WinLGX

      If the WinLGX software won't let you add or remove the inputs or outputs of an external switcher, here are some things to look at.

      To add inputs to the WinLGX software configuration for an external switcher, you can set the number of inputs in the LAST field under the INPUT section of the System Configuration folder (upper right corner), under the Properties View window below that.

       

      NOTE: The schedule grid must not have anything scheduled. The switcher settings are locked once something is put in the schedule grid. 

       

      If you need to clear out the schedule, you can delete the events or save the schedule to the PC (File/Save as/Export). Go to the File menu and select Open as New, and select the schedule you just saved; this will open the schedule with nothing in the schedule grid. All other System Configuration, Devices, and Library folders will be preserved.
