Can't Receive the Schedule

If you cannot receive the schedule image file, here are a few things to check.

  • Try rebooting the server.
  • Ensure the user you are logged into WinLGX with has sufficient rights or use the admin user.
  • The WinLGX software uses FTP protocol to transfer the schedule and video files between the PC and the server.
    • Try using Passive FTP
      1. In WinLGX, go to the Tools menu and select Preferences.
      2. Check the Use Passive FTP box.
      3. Click Ok at the bottom of that window.
      4. Close and reopen WinLGX.
    • Make sure FTP is allowed through your network and firewall.
  • Make sure WinLGX is allowed through the Window's firewall.
  • Make sure any virus protection software in use does not block WinLGX.
  • External USB hard drives having problems can cause communication issues.
    1. Try temporarily removing any USB hard drives from the server.
    2. Then reboot the server without the hard drives connected.
    3. Check if you can receive the schedule without the hard drives. If that is the case, the hard drives need maintenance or need to be replaced.
  • If using an UltraNEXUS-HD or BLADE, try zeroing out the second IP port if it's not zeroed already. You should be able to change this from the System Settings / System tab in the unit's web interface.

If you still can't receive the schedule:

  • If a NEXUS or UltraNEXUS, it is possible the internal compact flash card inside the unit is failing.
  • If an EHD2 or a Mini-T-NX, it could be that the internal hard drive is failing.
  • If an UltraNEXUS-HD, it's possible the Vol1 internal hard drive is failing.
  • If an UltraNEXUS-HD BLADE, it could be that the internal SD card is failing.
