If you cannot receive the schedule image file, here are a few things to check.
- Try rebooting the server.
- Ensure the user you are logged into WinLGX with has sufficient rights or use the admin user.
- The WinLGX software uses FTP protocol to transfer the schedule and video files between the PC and the server.
- Try using Passive FTP
- In WinLGX, go to the Tools menu and select Preferences.
- Check the Use Passive FTP box.
- Click Ok at the bottom of that window.
- Close and reopen WinLGX.
- Make sure FTP is allowed through your network and firewall.
- Try using Passive FTP
- Make sure WinLGX is allowed through the Window's firewall.
- Make sure any virus protection software in use does not block WinLGX.
- External USB hard drives having problems can cause communication issues.
-
- Try temporarily removing any USB hard drives from the server.
- Then reboot the server without the hard drives connected.
- Check if you can receive the schedule without the hard drives. If that is the case, the hard drives need maintenance or need to be replaced.
- If using an UltraNEXUS-HD or BLADE, try zeroing out the second IP port if it's not zeroed already. You should be able to change this from the System Settings / System tab in the unit's web interface.
If you still can't receive the schedule:
- If a NEXUS or UltraNEXUS, it is possible the internal compact flash card inside the unit is failing.
- If an EHD2 or a Mini-T-NX, it could be that the internal hard drive is failing.
- If an UltraNEXUS-HD, it's possible the Vol1 internal hard drive is failing.
- If an UltraNEXUS-HD BLADE, it could be that the internal SD card is failing.
