Exporting the NEXUS/UltraNEXUS schedule as a CSV File

Steps to export your schedule as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file that your spreadsheet program can open.

Exporting the schedule as a .csv file: (See the NEXUS series manual page 304 for details)

Perform the following steps to export schedules into a comma-delimited format:

  1. Ensure the schedule you wish to export is currently open in WinLGX.
  2. First, you need to create a template – Do this by going to the Tools menu and selecting Export/Print templates. You are choosing the Days, Channels, and Columns you want to appear in your report. (See page 116 of the manual for details.)
  3. Once your template is saved, go to the File menu and select Save as/Export.
  4. A window will open - change the "Save as type" to .csv.
  5. Give it a name, navigate where you want it saved on the PC, and click Save.
  6. This will open another window and show your saved template files. Select the template you created and click Open.
  7. This will save it as a .csv file. The file can then be opened in your database program.
