Use the following steps to adjust the output resolution. This applies to UltraNEXUS-HD, UltraNEXUS-HD X2, X5, Flex, Cast, and Blade servers.
There are three options for output resolution:
NOTE:
- All three options are available for the UltraNEXUS-HD, UltraNEXUS-HD X5, X2, and Blade.
- The UltraNEXUS-HD Cast and Flex only have SDI output capability.
- 1080i SDI+480iSD
- SDI output puts out 1920x1080 interlaced
- 29.97 frames per second (59.94 fields per second)
- (North American Standard drop frame)
- SD (Composite) output puts out 720x480 interlaced
- 29.97 frames per second
- SDI output puts out 1920x1080 interlaced
- 720p SDI ONLY
- SDI output puts out 1280x720 progressive
- 59.94 frames per second
- SD (Composite) output is black (non-functioning)
- SDI output puts out 1280x720 progressive
- 480i SD ONLY
- SDI output is black (non-functioning)
- SD (Composite) output puts out 720x480 interlaced
- 29.97 frames per second
- Enhanced – greater CPU dedication, higher quality.
There are two ways to set the output resolution: the web interface or the front panel.
From the Web Interface
- Go to the System Settings page
- Select the System tab
- Go to the Misc section on the right
- Under the Video Out Res field
- Click the drop-down menu and select the desired setting.
- Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
- Reboot the UltraNEXUS-HD to apply the change.
- To reboot, go to the Maintenance tab on the System Settings page and click the Reboot button.
From the Front Panel
- On the front panel, press the right arrow button; it will ask for a password, press the right arrow button five times – that is the default password.
- This will bring you to the Config Menu.
- In the Config Menu, press the up or down arrow button until Set Out Res is displayed.
- Press the right arrow button to enter the settings.
- Press the up or down arrow button to change to the desired setting.
- Reboot the unit to apply the change.
- To reboot from the front panel:
- Press the left arrow until the date and time are displayed.
- Press and hold the green check button for 8 seconds, and it will reboot.
- To reboot from the front panel:
