UltraNEXUS-HD Slides Page Asking for Flash

If the web interface Slides page displays a message to install or update Flash, here are the steps to take

This applies to UltraNEXUS-HD, UltraNEXUS-HD X2, X5, Flex, Cast, and Blade servers.

This may happen if the firmware is old in the UltraNEXUS-HD server or if you are trying to edit an old slide created using out-of-date firmware.

Old Firmware

  • If you tried to create a new slide using the Slides page and it displays a message for you to install, allow or update Flash, the UltraNEXUS-HD firmware needs to be updated.
  • Older firmware used Flash for slide creation, but more recent versions of firmware do not.
  • The current firmware version is 21.07.29 and is available for download from our website.

Editing an Old Slide

If you are attempting to edit a slide by clicking the Edit button, and it displays a message for you to install, allow or update Flash, then the slide may have been created using old firmware that used Flash.

  • The slide can still be scheduled and played, but it can’t be edited.
  • If you need to edit the slide, you will need to recreate the slide using the new slide editor.
