      Video Previews in WinLGX Not Working

      If files (especially m2t files) appear black or don't play in the WinLGX preview monitor, here are three things to try.

      Use WinLGX version 7.0.3.48

      Make sure you are using WinLGX version 7.0.3.48.
      • You can check your version number by going to the Help menu and selecting About.
      • You can download the WinLGX installer from www.leightronix.com/downloads.
      • When installing:
        • Make sure WinLGX is closed.
        • Right-click the installer file and select "Run as Administrator."
        • The installation process should include the installation of the VLC player version 3.0.17.4.

      Try Reinstalling WinLGX

      • Make sure WinLGX is closed.
      • Right-click the installer file and select "Run as Administrator."
      • The installation process should include the installation of the VLC player version 3.0.17.4.

      Try Uninstalling VLC

      If none of the above options work, try uninstalling the VLC media player from the PC and then reinstalling WinLGX using the process above.
