XML Error in WebNEXUS Interface
If you get an XML error in the web interface of your NEXUS or UltraNEXUS, here are some things to try.
If the XML error happens on just the Files and Virtual Channel page, but other web pages load without the error, the cause is usually due to a video file with an "&" in its filename.
- In the WinLGX software, go to the Tools menu and select Storage Manager.
- Then look through the video files to see if there are any files with an "&" symbol in the name.
- Remove the "&" symbol, and rename the file (right-click to rename).
- Refresh the WebNEXUS page, and check that the error is gone.
If the XML error happens on other WebNEXUS pages, this could be due to corruption in the internal compact flash storage.
- Run the Disk Diagnostic scan until completed.
- Firmware update the NEXUS or UltraNEXUS to restore any lost system files.
